Barbora Kodetova as Cheney-Dune

I may be in a minority here. Or possibly I am the only person on this planet that liked the mini series of Dune. Honestly it wasn't that bad. My friend Will Carter hated the paper of the Space Guild (shrugs) eh, I didn't think it was that bad.

But my favorite part of Dune the mini series was Barbora Kodetova who played Cheney. I thought that she looked exactly like how Frank Herbert described. This is a drawing from the mini series that showed Cheney topless standing in front of a Glow Globe.

Xmas Card -Holly

This is a part of a Christmas card I am making for friends and family. Some people will actually get the origanil art as a Christmas present. Some people will just get the card. But when I am done making prints for these cards it will be a piece of art people are getting from my wife and I.

There are no borders on this because I am going to make prints of this.

Javier Bardem-No Country For Old Men

Javier Bardem was one  of the best guys I've ever seen. His role in No Country For Old Men won him an Oscar and rightly so. So I just had to draw his portrait.

Matthew Lillard - SLC Punk

One of my favorite movies is SLC Punk. So I had to draw a portrait of Mathew Lillard as Stevo. I don't think that Mathew did all of that great of job as an actor. Certainly forgettable. But the story is fantastic. I was definitely invested in Stevo's character.

Henry Rollins

So I've been a fan of Henry Rollins for a very long time and I just had to draw a portrait of him. I never liked Black Flag very much but I really liked his spoken word a lot.

Cool Hand Rooney

This is a portrait of Paul Newman as the characters John Rooney from the movie Road to Perdition and Luke from the movie Cool Hand Luke. I absolutely love that movie Cool Hand Luke. I wanted to combine a portrait with both young and old Paul Newman. One of the greatest American actors.

The Faces of Patrick Bateman

One of my favorite movies is American Psycho the character Patrick Bateman played by Christian Bale is one of the heinous characters ever. Patrick has many faces and no one ever gets to see who he really is. Because he simply isn't there.

Kevin Spacey-Seven

One of my most favorite characters that Kevin Spacey ever played. John Doe from the movie Seven. There is a fantastic graphic novel called Seven too. The story is told from the perspective of the serial killer.

Anthony Hopkins-Hannibal Lecter

Hannibal Lecter is one of my favorite characters ever and Anthony Hopkins played him so well. So well that I had to draw him.

Vet On a Bus

When Jenny and I first moved to Santa Cruz we were riding a bus and we encountered this WWII vet. He was a very interesting man. When he was a teenager he said he was a bicycle messenger in Hollywood. He said he met all the famous stars before he joined the service. Then he told me about his time in the service. I thought it would be a shame if I never drew him.

Clive Owen - Children Of Men

So this is Clive Owen from the movie Children Of Men. Have you seen that movie? If not I highly recommend. Its a great movie. Besides being a great movie, Clive Owen is a serious tall drink of water to look at.

I decided to take a break from my Art Journal and draw some portraits. This is going to be my first one of some of my favorite actors. Some people I took pictures of. Just anybody who I think are interesting.

Hogard's Last Stand

Hogard's Last Stand

May your Mothers choke upon your name when they lament
over your blood and entrails. For I may be the last of my people
I shall surely not be the only man that dies this day. Come and spill my
blood if your steel is worthy. Come and die dogs.

Been a long time since I uploaded and updated this blog

Unusual Encounters.

I do not know where or how I got this idea.
Just seemed really cool.

Just a fairy and his pet dragonfly.

He That Walks Behind The Rose

I got this idea from Stephen King, Children of The Corn.
Except I think the literary source is referring to, He That Walks
Behind the Rows. As in rows of corn.
