The U.N. and The Faceless People

Because this is where I display all of my professional work,  such as what I've been commissioned to create, publications that published my illustrations, I couldn't wait to make this Blog Entry.

Recently I received the email below. The individual sending the email works for the International Labor Organizaion, which is a part of the United Nations.  The person writing the email asked if they could use the illustration below in their publication.  How could I refuse?

This isn't The New York Times or The Wall Street Journal.  This isn't The Atlantic or Slate.   NO WAY!  This is the International Labor Organization which is a part of the United Nations.  I defy anybody to get published bigger than that.

Barbora Kodetova as Cheney-Dune

I may be in a minority here. Or possibly I am the only person on this planet that liked the mini series of Dune. Honestly it wasn't that bad. My friend Will Carter hated the paper of the Space Guild (shrugs) eh, I didn't think it was that bad.

But my favorite part of Dune the mini series was Barbora Kodetova who played Cheney. I thought that she looked exactly like how Frank Herbert described. This is a drawing from the mini series that showed Cheney topless standing in front of a Glow Globe.

Xmas Card -Holly

This is a part of a Christmas card I am making for friends and family. Some people will actually get the origanil art as a Christmas present. Some people will just get the card. But when I am done making prints for these cards it will be a piece of art people are getting from my wife and I.

There are no borders on this because I am going to make prints of this.

Javier Bardem-No Country For Old Men

Javier Bardem was one  of the best guys I've ever seen. His role in No Country For Old Men won him an Oscar and rightly so. So I just had to draw his portrait.
